DTS urges government to initiate to open barricaded borders
Kathmandu, Oct 2: Democratic Thought Society has
urged the government to initiate to open the barricaded borders to ease
the supplies. The society has objected the step of Indian sides as she
has imposed undeclared border blockade and that has hit hard the
supplies in the country.
The society has further stressed on making immediate efforts to use transit rights established for landlocked countries.
The society chair Dr Kedar Narshing KC issued a press release today and urged the Indian government not to impose the border blockade as it has badly affected the normal life of the people.
Similarly, the society has urged the government and protesting parties to resolve the issues through consensus, dialogues and co-work.
The press release further expects that the new constitution would be able to pave the roadmap for economic, social and political development of the nation.
